Lauren Mitchell Sveen, WG'90 (President, Webmaster)
Principle, Northwoods Development, LLC
Lauren currently runs a private real estate investment company, and has served on numerous non-profit boards in both Colorado and Connecticut. Prior to moving to Denver five years ago, she founded an internet and catalog retail business, which she subsequently sold to e-Style.com. Lauren was a marketing consultant for many years, specializing in strategic development and positioning for Fortune 500 companies. In the mid-1990's, she was VP-Marketing/Business Development at Hill & Knowlton, and prior to that worked in brand management for Clorox Corporation, James River and American Express, launching numerous new products. Lauren graduated from Duke University in 1985, lives in Denver with her husband and three children, and is an avid skier and tennis player.

Adam Bedard, WG’08 (Communications, Webmaster)
Vice President, Norwest Corporation and Principal, Xero Footprint LLC
Adam Bedard graduated with a BS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder (’95). He has worked as a consultant in the energy, mining, and environmental industry for over 14 years. He is currently a partner, Vice President, and member of the Board at Norwest Corporation (www.norwestcorp.com). He recently completed his MBA in Finance from Wharton (’08) through the executive program in San Francisco. Adam is also a co-founder of Xero Footprint LLC (www. Xerofootprint.com), an eco-friendly bottled water company started in 2008 and based in Denver, Colorado. Adam and his wife Cindy live in Stapleton with their two boys, Charlie (age 2) and Alex (age 3 months).

Lance R. Caplin, WG'67 (Sponsorship, Events)
Wealth Manager, Presidential Brokerage, Inc.
A Viet Nam era veteran, Lance began his financial career as an arbitrageur with Ladenburg Thalmann & Company, an old line Wall Street firm in NYC. He has extensive real estate securities experience and as VP JMB Realty was involved in the acquisition and disposition of $35 billion in real estate. He also led the sales of direct investments in oil and gas, real estate, cable TV, and motion pictures for E.F. Hutton & Co., Inc. He was CEO of CAP Communications, a firm that played a major role in the build out of cellular and paging systems in the US and abroad. In 2006, he formed and was CEO of National Healthcare properties, a firm that acquired and packaged medical related real estate investments. Lance is President of Cherlan Enterprises, Inc. a real estate consulting firm.
His broad experience facilitates his ability to evaluate investment alternatives and make sound recommendations. With a broad spectrum of clients, much of his current focus is on helping “ Baby Boomers” preserve and continue to build assets so they may retire.

Randy Dunbar, WG'90 (Membership)
Senior Vice President, Level 3 Communications
Randy Dunbar graduated with a BS in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1984. He worked in Corporate Finance at Chemical Bank prior to attending Wharton, where he completed his MBA in 1990. He worked for nine years in strategy consulting at Mercer Management Consulting, where he was a Principal in the Communications, Information and Entertainment practice, working primarily on growth strategies and restructuring projects for technology companies. Randy spent the last ten years in a variety of senior level Marketing, Strategy and Finance positions at Level 3 Communications. Randy lives in Lafayette, CO with his wife Shawna Sharp and their two girls, Alexandra (7) and Breck (5).

Jennifer Sobanet, WG98(Denver Business Series and Penn Club Liaison)
Director of Strategic Planning, Colorado State University - Denver Center/Global Campus
Jennifer Sobanet graduated from the Society of Yeager Scholars at Marshall University ('93) with a BA in Economics. She completed her MBA and MA from Wharton and the Lauder Institute in 1998. Jennifer has worked in both the public and private sectors including management consulting in Latin America and more recently leading Career and Technical Education for the State of Colorado. She is currently working with Colorado State University as they develop programs that bring college education to non-traditional students. Jennifer and her husband, Henry, live in downtown Denver with their dog, Strider.
