Annual Alumni Ski Day in Vail - March 7th

Join us Saturday, March 7th for a full day of Wharton Club activities:

9:30 AM - Ski as a Group (Meet at the top of Gondola One and look for the Wharton Banner)

11:30 AM - Lunch at The Tenth

• Located at Mid-Vail (Accesible from Gondola One for non-skiers) 
• RSVP by February 15th for reservations

 1-3 PM - Ski with guides (at least two ability groups will form)

4 PM - Apres Ski  

• Meet at Swiss Chalet for socialization and discussion led by Rod Slifer
• Rod will lead discussion on the history, current business climate and future growth / development plans for the town of Vail

Rod Slifer Vail Business Person of the Year and one of Vail’s 10 most influential citizens.  Rod merged Slifer & Company (with Harry Frampton and Mark Smith) to form Slifer Smith & Frampton. Rod has served as a member of the Vail Town Council for 16 years and the mayor of Vail for 11 years. He is a founding director of Alpine Banks of Colorado, director of Colorado Open Lands, vice chair of Vail Valley Foundation and is one of the founders of the University of Colorado Real Estate Center and Real Estate Foundation. Slifer was also an early member of Eagle County and Vail Planning Commissions and Recreation District.
