Wharton Alumni Volunteer Day at Food for Thought
Friday, April 17, 2026 | 7:00–9:00 AM
Join fellow Wharton alumni for a hands-on morning of service supporting Food for Thought Denver, a 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit working to combat weekend hunger for students across our community.
Food for Thought serves 75 schools throughout the Denver area, supplying weekend food bags—called PowerSacks—to students who may not have enough to eat outside of school. While many children qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch during the week, weekends often create a critical gap in food access.
During this volunteer event, alumni will work together in Food for Thought’s enclosed warehouse to pack PowerSacks that will be distributed directly to Denver-area schools. It’s a meaningful way to give back, make a tangible impact in just under two hours, and connect with fellow Wharton alumni who care about strengthening our local community.
