Join fellow Wharton alumni for a hands-on morning of service supporting Food for Thought Denver, a 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit working to combat weekend hunger for students across our community.
Food for Thought serves 75 schools throughout the Denver area, supplying weekend food bags — called PowerSacks — to students who may not have enough to eat outside of school. While many children qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch during the week, weekends often create a critical gap in food access.
During this volunteer event, alumni will work together in Food for Thought’s enclosed warehouse to pack PowerSacks that will be distributed directly to Denver-area schools. It’s a meaningful way to give back, make a tangible impact in just under two hours, and connect with fellow Wharton alumni who care about strengthening our local community.
